Pydaho Labs

About Pydaho Labs “Pydaho” comes from Python — the language I cut my teeth coding in — and Idaho. Between the infantry and agriculture, I’ve spent a lot of time outdoors, in all kinds of places and situations. Somewhere along the way I found a passion for solving problems, whether the fix is an app or a physical product. Most of what I make started as “that would be nice” and turned into a thing. Products: My biggest seller is custom tail fan mounts, built for grouse and pheasant tail fans. From there I added a turkey design. On the app side, I’ve got two iOS apps. PackApp USA is built for backcountry trips — pack and item creation, plus centralized weather data (snow depth, wildfire info), all rolled into an all-in-one “Sky Score.” GunDog Gram is for upland hunters running bird dogs — track the states and species you’ve hunted, and upload GPX files to log distance, speed, and elevation gain for a hunt or a full season. TrailTag bridges physical and digital — a backcountry business card. An NFC tag embedded in a 3D-printed MOLLE buckle links to contact info your phone can save directly. Most recently I’ve branched into laser engraving and decals/stickers. There’s satisfaction in making something someone’s proud to display or use.
