Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the Idaho Veteran Business Directory ("the directory"), operated by the Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance ("VEA," "we," "us"). By using the directory or creating an account, you agree to these terms.

The directory

The directory helps people find Idaho businesses owned by veterans, military spouses, and transitioning service members. Listings are free for VEA members. Browsing the directory is free for everyone.

Your account

• You must give accurate information when you create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 18 to create an account.
• Tell us right away at admin@vealliance.org if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Your listing

• You may only create a listing for a business you own or are authorized to represent.
• Your listing must follow our Listing Guidelines at /guidelines.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of everything in your listing.
• You keep ownership of the content you submit. By submitting it, you give VEA permission to display, format, and share it as part of the directory and to promote the directory, including on VEA's website, emails, and social media.
• VEA may review, edit for formatting, decline, unpublish, or remove any listing at our discretion, including listings that do not meet our guidelines or that we cannot verify.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or unlawful content.
• Use the directory to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages to listed businesses.
• Copy or collect listing information in bulk, including by automated means, without our written permission.
• Interfere with the site's security or operation.
• Impersonate another person or business.

No endorsement

Listing a business in the directory confirms that it met our eligibility requirements when it was approved. It is not an endorsement or guarantee of the business's products, services, licenses, or work. Customers should do their own research before hiring or buying from any business. Any agreement between a customer and a listed business is solely between them.

Disclaimers

The directory is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep information accurate, but listings are provided by business owners and we do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current, or accurate. To the fullest extent allowed by law, VEA is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the directory or your dealings with any listed business.

Ending access

You may stop using the directory and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that violates these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the directory after an update means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho.
